Thank you so much for your interest in our event! At this time, The Fire Station does not plan to host Camp Cannabis in 2023. Stay tuned to our channels for announcements on future events.

Live music from nationally-recognized artists. A wide selection of marijuana experiences. Dozens of vendors. And of course, legal cannabis. 

Camp Cannabis (aka “camp” or “CC”) is the first festival of its kind in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Event goers will enjoy  a welcoming and engaging environment centered on music, art, culture, and cannabis. 

The festival will be held in Marquette, Michigan’s Tourist Park, a 40 acre campground located on the edge of the city along the shores of the Dead River.

Camp Cannabis is a one-of-a-kind festival designed to celebrate, destigmatize and experience marijuana. From a fully-stocked pop-up store for all of your cannabis needs, to educational programming related to the plant, campers will have the opportunity to enjoy cannabis at every turn.  

In addition to our on-stage entertainment, there are a number of additional experiences to enjoy throughout Camp.

The Fire Station Pop-up Retail Store

TFS will be the exclusive retailer of cannabis products at Camp. Campers can explore a range of products while enjoying exclusive event discounts and flash sales.

Good Vibes Grove

Test out your creativity with a Puff ‘n Paint session, unwind with a cleansing session, or enjoy the views of the beautiful Dead River while checking out our local vendors and artists. The Grove is the best place at Camp to kick back and relax.

The Pavilion

The mission of Camp Cannabis is to bring about awareness on all things cannabis. Learn from industry experts at The Pavilion all weekend long, where you can listen to sessions on topics such as the ABC’s of THC, Science Behind Cannabinoids and the Endocannabinoid System, and the Last Prisoner Project.

Sessions run daily and have seating room for up to 100 guests.

Festival Guide

Getting to Camp

There is limited parking onsite at Camp Cannabis. To account for this, we are offering the following complimentary services:

  • A shuttle that will run from back portion of the Westwood Mall  to Camp Cannabis’ Main Gate every 15 minutes throughout the duration of the event. (Shuttle hours: Friday 11AM-12AM | Saturday 8 AM-12AM)
  • A  bike valet at the park’s South Gate. 

In addition, the Marquette area has cab services provided by Checker Transportation, along with the Lyft ride share service.

General Information

Tourist Park is located in Marquette, Michigan at 2145 Sugar Loaf Ave.

No.

Alcohol will be sold at Camp Cannabis at multiple designated locations. Event guests are not permitted to carry in their own alcohol.

All cannabis products consumed at the event must be purchased at The Fire Station Pop-Up Store that will be centrally located at Camp. Event guests are not permitted to carry in their own cannabis.

If your family is all 21+, sure!

Guests ages 20 and below are not permitted at camp. 

Please do not bring your dog or other pet to Camp Cannabis. Service animals only are permitted.

Heck yeah! This is a cannabis-friendly event and campers are welcome to smoke a joint, pass a bowl, or consume their favorite strains in whatever method they prefer.

All  non-consumption areas of the festival will be clearly marked.

We will have a bike valet entrance off of the bike path that leads into Tourist Park. Bikes are not permitted on festival grounds, however, they are permitted at campers’ campsites.

In October of 2021, the Marquette City Commission passed a temporary marijuana events policy. This allows marijuana consumption events at Tourist Park, Lakeview Arena, and the Presque Isle Pavilion. TFS took this as an opportunity to create Camp Cannabis!

Yes, attendees are allowed to re-enter the park with their cannabis so long as they maintain their purchase receipt showing it was from the pop up store. 

Small bags (up to 5″x9″) including fanny packs and purses or clear bags of any size will be permitted into the event without inspection.

Large bags, coolers, and chairs are subject to inspection to ensure the event is as safe as possible.

Attendees can park for free at the Westwood Mall in Marquette and take the Checker Transport shuttle to the event venue. View the parking map here

Though there will be lifeguards on duty in case of an emergency, swimming in the Dead River at Camp Cannabis is prohibited. Lifeguards will be on duty from 11am to 11pm on both Friday and Saturday.

Handicap parking is available in the Dressler blacktop parking lot, which can be accessed on Enterprise Drive. Attendees who use the handicap parking lot will enter the event through the camping and bike check entrance. 

Ticketing

Yes! You can fill out the volunteer sign up form here.

Volunteers will be reimbursed based off the pricing of a general admission ticket less the cost of Eventbrite fees. If an attendee would like to have VIP access, they can select a VIP ticket but will only be reimbursed up to $125.

No. Tickets are non-refundable.

The individual (“Attendee”) admitted to Camp Cannabis must follow all rules of the festival, and all posted and/or verbal directions and instructions of the festival staff and volunteers, while present on the festival premises. Failure to abide by such rules, instructions and directions may result in dismissal from the premises without refund.

COVID-19: Attendee acknowledges that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention By visiting the festival premises, Attendee voluntarily assumes all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

The attendee shall indemnify and hold harmless The Fire Station Cannabis Co., TFS Events and Camp Cannabis, including its owners, employees, representatives, agents, principals, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies (collectively, the “Camp Cannabis Parties”), from any and all expenses, fees, fines, penalties, suits, proceedings, actions of any kind, property loss, personal injury, and/or damage in any way related to attendee’s participation in Camp Cannabis and/or the negligence of any one or more of the Camp Cannabis Parties, including (without limitation) any action, inaction, material, product or service offered or supplied by any Sponsor or any other activity conducted or undertaken by or on behalf of any Sponsor in connection with Camp Cannabis. Attendee accepts and assumes all risks, hazards, and dangers.

  • All attendees must be 21+ years of age.
  • Attendee acknowledges that attending and participating in events such as concerts and music festivals as a spectator involves risk of loss to property and injury to person or property. Attendee accepts and assumes all such risk of loss or injury whether occurring before, during or after any concert, show or other event at the Camp Cannabis festival.
  • All campsite locations will be assigned in advance by the Camping Area Coordinator.
  • Parking is provided in designated areas only. With the exception of specified set-up/load-in and break-down/load-out times, vehicles must remain at the attendee campsite or off event site grounds. Vehicles will be removed immediately when asked to be by Camp Cannabis Parties’ staff. Camp Cannabis Parties’ staff reserves the right to remove or have a third-party remove, at the owner’s expense, any vehicle that is improperly parked or otherwise fails to comply with Camp Cannabis Parties’ staffs’ directions/instructions.
  • For the safety of the festival’s attendees, vehicles are not allowed to move onto or within the site during operating hours or during a window before and after scheduled events when attendees arrive and depart.
  • A shuttle service will be provided for Attendees, but Attendees agree to hold the Camp Cannabis Parties harmless for any and all injury, theft, harm, damage or other loss that may occur to property or person during transportation.
  • Camp Cannabis will provide day and evening security, but Attendees agree to hold the Camp Cannabis Parties harmless for any injury, theft, harm damage, or other loss that may occur to property or person during the load-in/set-up, event, break-down/load-out of the festival and/or any of its events.
  • Attendees and their belongings may be searched on entry to the event. Attendee hereby knowingly and unconditionally consents to such searches and waives any related claims that may arise. If Attendee refuses to consent to such searches at the entry of the festival and/or any of its events, Attendee may be denied entry to the festival and any of its event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation: firearms, weapons dangerous devices of any type, alcohol, drugs, air horns, and/or fireworks. Any Attendee attempting to enter the festival premises with any banned item may be denied admission and/or the banned item may be confiscated. Any Attended found to possess any banned item in the festival premises may be removed/dismissed from the festival, without refund, and/or the banned item may be confiscated.
  • Attendees must take home everything from their campsite – including mats, tents, storage containers, decorations, and all garbage/refuse.
  • The Camp Cannabis Parties and/or its affiliates are not liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved event.
  • Camp Cannabis is a rain or shine event. Please come prepared. Attendee tickets are non-refundable. In case the event must be canceled for reasons out of organizer’s control (i.e. weather, government imposed regulations, viruses and pandemics, etc.), the event will be rescheduled and the new date will be announced to all registered attendees of the event. If an event must be canceled for safety reasons, after the doors open, refunds will not be given.
  • Please do not bring your dog or other pet to Camp Cannabis. Service animals only are permitted.
  • Attendees are not permitted to bring in outside cannabis or alcohol to the event. All cannabis at the event will be sold at the TFS Pop Up Shop. Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the festival and all events without refund and/or the banned item may be confiscated.  
  • All cannabis and merchandise sales are final.
  • Attendee hereby grants to the Camp Cannabis Parties and their assignees the perpetual and irrevocable right throughout the world, without compensation and without any further authorization, to use the likeness, voice and appearance of Attendee in any audio, visual image, or any other form of media captured while the Attendee attends the festival and any of its events.
  • Attendee may not award this ticket as a prize, sell it at auction, or make any commercial, trade or business use of it as part of any advertisement or promotion or otherwise without the prior written consent of the Camp Cannabis Parties.
  • Opening acts may sometimes tour with headlining performers. We are not always made aware of Opening Acts or the length of their performances. Opening Acts, as well as Festival performers, are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. 

The attendees shall at all times comply with all applicable laws, rules, codes, regulations, ordinances, and other legal and governmental requirements of any local, provincial, territorial, federal, or international jurisdiction in providing the services (including any applicable professional licensing or permitting laws).

In exchange for admission to Camp Cannabis, and in furtherance to the above, Attendee hereby releases, discharges, and agrees to hold harmless the Camp Cannabis Parties, and their respective parents companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies, and their respective directors, officers, volunteers, employees, agents, contractors and representatives; other Festival attendees; event performers; Festival sponsors, advertisers and vendors; and the successor and assigns of each of them (each considered one of the “Releasees” herein), to the fullest extent permitted by law, from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, and damages, which Attendee has or may have for any claims or causes of action arising out of or relating in any manner to attendance at the premises; attendance at, observation of and/or participation in any event at the premises; or any related activities. In further exchange for admission to the premises, Attendee agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless any and all Releasees from and against any and all demands, suits, claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses), including but not limited to, any claims by or on behalf of Attendee. In exchange for admission to the premises, Attendee covenants not to sue (or assist any person in suing) any Releasee for any matter related to the above assumptions, releases, indemnifications, or agreements.

In consideration for the opportunity to attend an event, and by entering the premises, each Attendee agrees to the above terms and conditions, which apply regardless of the form of any ticket or other invitation to an event, or where or by whom such ticket or invitation is held, stored, or displayed.

Camp Cannabis will be a recreational consumption event only. Unfortunately, because of this, only those who are 21+ can attend the event. 

The campsite is separate from the general admission or VIP ticket, these tickets are what will grant you access to the event. You MUST purchase a ticket for entrance into the event; please note, every individual staying at your campsite MUST have a ticket to the event to enter the campground.

Tickets are non transferable and non refundable. If it’s a unique or special circumstance, please have them email campcannabis@906fire.com.

Check in is Friday, Oct. 7 at 12:00 p.m.

Campers must be checked-out by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9

Yes! Reach out to campcannabis@906fire.com to secure your Thursday night campsite. Consumption is NOT permitted on Thursday night as the event doesn’t officially begin until Friday at noon.

Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m., daily

There is a maximum of eight individuals and two vehicles per campsite.

One RV and one tent or two tents are permitted at each site. 

Firewood, ice, and Yooper Fire Starters are for sale from the main office. Please do not bring your own firewood into the park. Hammock stands are available for rented from the park office.

Campsites will be assigned in advance by the Camping Area Coordinator. If you purchase a campsite, you will receive communications about your campsite details, check-in times, and any other logistical information starting 70 days prior to the event. Be sure to keep an eye on your email!

While there will be security during the event monitoring entrants, cannabis usage, and crowds, please lock up all valuables – Tourist Park and TFS Events are not responsible for losses!

Hammocking and slacklining on trees is not permitted.  Hammock stands can be rented from the park office.

There is a fine of up to $120 for leaving refuse behind at your campsite or in a fire pit.

Please take care of Tourist Park so others may enjoy it after the close of our festival!

Bring a camping chair, any accessories you might need, weather appropriate clothing (especially for campers!) and any other things you might need to have the best weekend possible!

VIP campsites are full utility hook up. General admission campsites are electricity only guaranteed.

PARKING

-Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park in their lots.

-Walk-in customers can park in the dirt lot behind Northern Hydroponics if there is space. Otherwise, please use the metered downtown street parking or other legal parking options including the downtown parking lots.

CURBSIDE PICK UP

-Please have the appropriate amount of cash and a government-issued photo ID ready when you arrive. The 4 parking space behind our building will be designated for those who wish to order curbside, but have not yet placed an order. Our alleyway is reserved for those who have already placed a curbside pick up order. Please note that we are only able to fit 2-3 vehicles in this space. When exiting the alleyway you will only be able to turn right.
